AARP Tax Assistance

The American Association of Retired Persons Tax Aide Program provides free, quality assistance with personal income taxes to taxpayers 50 years or older of low and moderate incomes.

Please bring with you a driver license (or other picture ID), your social security card or statement, a copy of last year’s tax return, your W2 form, 1099 forms and any other information concerning your income and expenses. Please note: If filing a joint tax return, both parties must be present. This free program will be offered to qualified individuals on Fridays, from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM, throughout the tax season. 

Appointments are required. Please sign up at the Circulation Desk beginning Friday, January 9th, or call 631-499-0888. IRS form 13614-C (available at the Circulation Desk or on the IRS website) must be completed prior to your appointment.
